Caltrain, in partnership with Silicon Valley Community Foundation, is excited to bring back the 2014 Holiday Train, spreading joy and the community spirit of giving throughout the Bay Area. The dazzling show train, with more than 70,000 glittering lights, visits nine stations between San Francisco and San José on December 6 and 7.

This free family event facilitates the collection of over 2,000 toys for local children who might otherwise have been forgotten at this time of year. The toys are distributed after the event by The Salvation Army and Toys for Tots. The event raised over $100,000 in 2013.

Also, you are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for a child in need and put it in the toy donation barrels at the stations. The toys are distributed after the event by The Salvation Army and Toys for Tots.
