Social Committee

The social committee brings OQRA members and other neighbors together to strengthen our community through events like a monthly walking group, "locals night out" at nearby businesses, and summertime ice cream socials.

The social committee is seeking new members to participate. If you'd like to join the social committee, or if you have questions about upcoming events, please send us an email here.

Please visit our Events Page for upcoming items!

The U-N (University-Neighborhood) Committee facilitates discussion between the Old Quad neighbors and Santa Clara University. Important topics include university expansion and the activity at student rental houses in the neighborhood. To participate in the University-Neighborhood Relations Committee, send us an email.

This Old House Committee

The members of this committee pool their wisdom and experience of working on old homes to help with restoration and construction projects in the Old Quad.

Want to ask other members about their restoration experience? Looking for some salvaged building materials? Have an idea for a great community project?

If you're handy, or have gone through some interesting changes with your own historic home, please join the "This Old House" Committee! Click here to get involved.

Political Action Committee (PAC)

OQRA's Political Action Committee (PAC) is a vital part of our organization. PAC monitors the agenda of city and county meetings with an eye towards issues affecting the Old Quad. Members of PAC attend meetings and report back the important information. If you're interested in getting involved with PAC, please let us know!
